🌸 Springtime Adventures at NPC! 🌸 As the flowers bloomed and the days grew longer, our amazing NPC team made the most of this vibrant season. Here's a glimpse into some of the fantastic activities our employees enjoyed over the spring: 🎓 Celebrations of Success: Congratulations to our team members who graduated this spring! Your hard work and dedication have paid off, and we’re incredibly proud of your achievements. #GenZ 🌴 Adventures Abroad: Some of our team had the chance to explore new horizons with trips to stunning destinations like Costa Rica. From zip-lining through rainforests to relaxing on pristine beaches, these adventures were truly unforgettable. 🎶 Music City Magic: We also made our way to Nashville, soaking in the rich music culture, vibrant nightlife, and southern charm. Honky-tonk fun and delicious BBQ were definitely on the agenda! 🐾 Pet Pals: Quality time with our furry friends is always a highlight. Part 2: As we enter the final days of 2024 I've been reflecting on the year and I realized that last week was the perfect microcosm of it. Three events collided to create a whirlwind of activity, purpose, and gratitude. I want to give each the attention it deserves so let's move on to the second: The Oklahoman Top Workplaces Awards. Last Wednesday afternoon a group of us took a short break from the Phase 2 Winter Summit to attend the 2024 Oklahoman's Top Workplaces Awards here in OKC. We weren't sure what to expect, but after coming in 3rd last year our hopes were high. Well we cleaned up and were able to return to our team dinner with the following in hand: 📢 The Communication Award which acknowledges that our team members feel well-informed about the company's performance, decisions, operations, direction, and goals. 👨👩👧👦 The Family Forward Award, an inaugural award presented by the Potts Family Foundation that recognizes Phase 2 for our commitment to supporting employees who are parents, caregivers, or guardians of children or adults. 🏆 1st place in the small business category! These awards are 100% driven by anonymous employee feedback which is analyzed and ranked by a neutral 3rd party, Energage. That makes these awards insanely special and tells us that we are doing a lot of things right. But it's not in our nature to rest on our laurels. All we are focused on now is to scour our feedback for opportunities to improve. All of us work so hard to make Phase 2 a great place to work, and a great company to work with, so these types of awards and events are so meaningful and invigorating as we close this year and enter a new one. I'm more grateful than ever to be a part of this company and am excited to play whatever role I can in keeping this an amazing place to work. As we get closer towards the end of 2024, I’ve been reflecting on the year that was. For me, it has been a year of highlights, lowlights, and insights. Here is the shortlist… Highlights - At Australian Institute of Training & Development - AITD we won the Associations Forum ‘Turnaround Association of the Year’ award. This award is an #acknowledgement of everything we’ve done to bring AITD back into the black and lift member #engagement, while growing our volunteer numbers; as well as the development of our #strategy, vision, purpose, and values - and then executing it. We’re not done yet, but this was a fabulous energy boost for us to keep going. A big shout out to Ben J Campbell, our team, our Board of Directors, and our volunteers. It is a pleasure to work with you every day. - At Beaumont Tiles we refreshed and relaunched our #Values. It was exciting to open up conversations with our leaders and team members about values, what they look like, how they #connect us as a workforce, and how they help us find meaning in our work. I then got to designing a ‘Leading Our Values’ program for #peopleleaders, helping them to build comfort in talking about our values and keeping the conversation alive – so our values are not just a poster on the wall. - On a personal note, we moved into our #dreamhome! It’s been so rewarding to see our plans, our design, our little tweaks of personalisation come to life. Now we get to sit back in our alfresco area and chill with a perfectly chilled glass of bubbles. Lowlights - There have been some challenges for me this year. Selling my home of 13 years, was more difficult than I imagined. Leaving the place where we built a #family, held our wedding, and said goodbye to my best buddy, Monte. Having to use a construction toilet while living in a caravan for the first 6 weeks wasn’t fun either. As with any build, not everything went to plan. We had setbacks, delays, product errors and a myriad of other things occur. It tested my #resilience, and while it all turned out well in the end, I didn’t always handle it with grace. Insights - This year I learned that I can be much more patient than I thought. On the flip side, I also learned that if I have to be patient for too long, it takes a toll on me physically and #mentally. I need to take better care of myself. - #Leadership isn’t just about accolades—it’s also about facing tough criticism. This year taught me that not everyone will agree with my decisions or view me as a strong leader. Feedback, even when hard to hear, is a catalyst for #growth. With the help of a #coach, I’m refining my approach and accepting that I can’t please everyone. And that’s okay. - #Perimenopause is a bitch (apologies for the language)! It’s taken quite some time for me to get the symptoms under control. I think I’m there, but as we know, things change so I’m only cautiously #optimistic. And bring on 2025! It’s going to be a great year. A year of change and a year of adventure. ❤️

Great Places To Work - Worldwide 🌏 I received the lifecycle programme confidentially which showed from participation to accreditation with Great Places To Work This is presented to employees as strictly confidential even though their website also mentions that they analyse employee data by department, job role, managerial level, and more to identify patterns and disparities in employee experience (source: https://lnkd.in/da9Su5KU). The cost of the programme as far as I could ascertain is €5,000 to €7,500, I assume that's based on the number of employees you have. Fáilte Ireland as far as I can see work closely with Great Places To Work, and have their own accreditation programme. I would pose the question and have to the Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is this fair, that two companies work closely together and seem to have the market covered? I also posed the question how Strictly Confidential is your feedback as an employee? Please pay special attention to this infographic ⏬️⏬️⏬️⏬️⏬️⏬️⏬️ ***In the interest of fairness I have already brought this up with Failte Ireland around their accreditation process.🇮🇪
