Your English SUCKS… That’s what I told myself every second of my first job You see... When I graduated, I wasn’t confident in my VOICE - Whether people would understand me or not. And like many new grads, my confidence was at ROCK BOTTOM👇 But even though I knew my English wasn’t perfect I still put myself in front of the camera. WHY? Because if I gave up now, it would mean I would let my insecurities define my career. 🤐 I wanted to be heard, even if my voice wasn’t perfect. BUT... I didn’t want to risk the company’s image by turning their page into my personal proving ground. 💡 THE SOLUTION? LIP-SYNC... I started using ElevenLabs AI-generated voices for almost every video. It became my crutch—a temporary fix. But deep down, I knew I had to overcome this. So, I started experimenting on my personal page - Using my REAL voice. I spent weekends, evenings, mornings, and nights practising, Trying to turn my DISADVANTAGE into an ADVANTAGE. THE RESULT? I did it… kind of. It still haunts me sometimes, and I occasionally struggle to find the right words. But here’s what I’ve learned: 🤴 Confidence doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from progress. 🙇♂️ For every “problem,” there’s a solution. And sometimes, that solution is to keep showing up, imperfect but determined. P.S. This video is one of the examples I mentioned. For almost 8 months, I used an AI voice to replace mine.
