Developed within Salzburg Global Seminar's Asia Peace Innovators Forum, the project fosters dialogue, understanding, and youth leadership, beginning with a festival in Pakistan and expanding across south Asia (next into Nepal). By blending ideas, cultures, and civilizations, it aims to cultivate a generation prepared to address climate-induced challenges and advocate for sustainable peace, shaping a future where resilient, harmonious communities prevail across South Asia. Feeling the impact of AFCON, let's dive into it.   Hello LinkedIn community! It's great to reconnect with all of you.   Did you all enjoy the recently concluded AFCON saga and the intense efforts from opposing countries trying to outshine Nigeria? From Ghanaian jollof to Cameroonian pepper and Angola to South Africa, it was a culinary competition alongside football. It clearly highlights the dedication and teamwork of every Super Eagles player to reach the final stage, despite the unfortunate loss to Ivory Coast.   Let's take a moment to appreciate the tactical brilliance of Coach Jose Peseiro and his back-end staff. As a football enthusiast, I observed how he strategically addressed Nigeria's challenges during the semi-final against South Africa. Understanding each player's best position and knowing when to make substitutions contributed to their success. Drawing parallels to our daily and business activities, we can gain valuable insights into improving our strategies and adapting to changes.   While the Super Eagles may not have clinched the trophy, they deserve accolades for their unity and determination. This serves as motivation for us in the business world – a lost contract or competition doesn't signify the end. Reflecting on figures like Tony O. Elumelu, C.F.R and Femi Otedola, who faced business challenges and emerged stronger, reminds us that setbacks are part of the journey.   In May 2022, Lunar Crypto coin crashed, but founder Kwon Do-hyung didn't let betrayal deter him. He regrouped, strategized, and successfully launched Lunar 2.0. 📣 Eos Cares becomes Interkultur i Lund! Well - not 100% true, but the easiest way to explain. In the past year the organization Eos Cares has undergone some major changes, among others the foundation and development of a new association: Interkultur i Lund. ✨ Interkultur i Lund invites foreign born Lundabor (Lund residents) to join activities and events organized by different sections and to become a member of the association.  The main goal of Interkultur is to build an inclusive local community where everyone feels welcome, finds connection and belonging, and has the supportive atmosphere to establish and develop him-/herself socially and professionally. 🙂 Many of the programs, groups, activities and events that have been organised within Eos Cares, the social sustainability program of IK Eos, will continue under the umbrella of Interkultur i Lund and its different sections and their members. At the moment following seven sections are united in Interkultur i Lund: Raha (Afghan section)  Anatolia (Turkish section)  Ukrainian Unity (Ukrainian section)  Kulturbro (Swedish-speaking "Bridge-Builders' section") Social Hub (English-speaking section) Al-Jasmin (Arabic section)  Português Lund (Portuguese and Brazilian section) But who knows - in the future there might be even more sections! Is there a difference for founders who happen to have a first name other than Thomas, Stefan or Michael? This was the leading question of last week's Ment2be event presenting some selected case studies from migrant founders in Germany. And the answer to the question is “yes”. While “Michael founders“ typically face lots of obstacles as well – as I know from personal experience 😉 - migrant founders often must tackle additional issues. Missing support from family, mentors and qualified personal network are typical pitfalls for example. The good news is that #2hearts is solving exactly these issues with its community and network of mentors.
