🎯Quick Tip for Confident Communication in Business English! 🎯 Struggling with your accent during meetings or presentations? Here’s a simple hack: Slow down. 🐢 When you speak a bit slower, not only do you sound more confident, but it also gives you time to pronounce words clearly. This helps reduce misunderstandings and ensures your brilliant ideas shine through! ✨ Remember, it’s not about erasing your accent—it’s about being understood and making an impact! 💼🎤 #BusinessEnglish #AccentReduction #CommunicationTip #SpeakWithConfidence

I watched the video below and found it absolutely funny but somewhat true. I went through the comments and saw people's position about acronyms, especially organization-specific ones. I gave it a thought and actually have a different opinion which I shared in the post's comments and also thought to share below. 1. Business or profession-related acronyms are very swift and easy ways of communicating really long jargons or profession-related lingua without biting your tongue, stammering/stuttering or breaking in communication. 2. It prevents people from eavesdropping on your conversation. So, your conversation is coded especially in a public space because, you don't know who is who. 3. It actually makes one sound more professional and knowledgeable of key terms and concepts used. This is true for medicine, finance, banking, etc. This means if you do not know what the acronym means, you need to read up. Plus, I believe that widely known acronyms should not be strange to a person if he/she is familiar with the profession or field. I am advocating for the profuse use of widely known terms like KPI, UI, UX, OS, etc. I mean, who doesn't know these? Funny enough, I am also advocating for organization-specitic acronyms. Something known to only employees who went through official onboarding and training. It save gjards information from being leaked to competitors. I hope we find this helpful.
We’re going to need a dictionary for all of these acronyms. #Corporate #Communication #Toodaloo
