you don't actually learn that much in webinars if we look at the learning pyramid at the top you have passive learning and at the bottom you have active learning and now the webinar is actually right at the top it's a lecture you only retain like 5% of what you've learnt right we got further down into the active learning like a group discussion you're already retaining 50% uh of your learning and obviously practice by doing 75% and then teaching others is 90% and I think that's the problem that we're solving uh sales hookup we recently introduced group virtual roundtables they're called group hookups and it can be a combination of experts giving master classes on different subject areas like we had one for LinkedIn Sales Navigator but the great thing about this is after they've taught you something you then have a discussion to see what you know any gaps insights so that's why it helps with the retention and then like you're telling people what you're doing and actually by doing that you're teaching others and therefore maybe it's something you learnt last week you're actually retaining 90% of what you're telling others in terms of what you've learnt and then also for instance we had a masterclass um which was on objection handling and in the beginning yes it was like a lecture then it was kind of like a discussion but then it was actually practicing so they practice handling objections uh with different example companies and yeah in terms of retaining learning that 75% so I think the big difference between webinars standard webinars is that they're boring there's someone always trying to sell something at the end full of fluff and you don't retain the knowledge that you've learnt from them whereas our group virtual roundtables also known as group hookups are great for discussions great for networking and great for learning
