𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 '𝐂𝐚𝐧'𝐭𝐬' 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 '𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐌𝐞?' In the world of female entrepreneurship, challenges can often seem daunting. Women may find themselves at a crossroads, thinking, "I can't do this." However, reframing this internal dialogue can be transformative. Instead of saying "I can't," consider asking, "Who can help me?" Successful women of purpose understand that strength lies not only in their abilities but also in their networks. Let's explore this a little further: ✨ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 The entrepreneurial journey doesn't have to be solitary. By engaging with others and embracing collaboration, individuals can tap into the collective wisdom around them. Whether through brainstorming, sharing experiences, or simply offering a listening ear, your community is a powerful place to grow. 🤝 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 Asking for assistance is not a sign of weakness; it demonstrates the courage to acknowledge limitations and the wisdom to seek support. It's about leveraging others' strengths to strengthen one’s path. Female entrepreneurs must challenge themselves to build connections, foster collaboration, and uplift one another. Focusing on who can help achieve goals, rather than on limitations alone, turns challenges into opportunities. Remember, the strength of the community around you amplifies your success. So, leverage the power of connection to elevate your entrepreneurial journey! I'm building a community of like-minded women who want a community to strengthen their path. "Women entrepreneurs are always 'mompreneurs'": Some people assume that if a woman starts a business, it's related to something traditionally 'feminine' or a side venture to supplement a spouse's income. Women entrepreneurs are found in every industry, running everything from tech startups to large corporations. These assumptions can be limiting and devalue the accomplishments of these determined women. We must challenge this narrative, recognizing women entrepreneurs for their diverse businesses and the significant impact they have on the global economy. They are leaders, innovators, and game-changers. They don't confine themselves to traditionally 'female' industries or backseat roles. It's time we collectively acknowledge their contributions and stop boxing them in by labels. The world of entrepreneurship is not gender-specific; it's about passion, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of success. From tech startups to global conglomerates, women are pioneering change in every industry. Let's foster an environment that supports, encourages, and celebrates their accomplishments. Starting my entrepreneurial journey, I wish I had something like the JJZ Collective. I felt alone. I didn't have a peer group who looked like me or understood the unique challenges faced by women, particularly Asian women in business, coaching, and mentoring. That's why I'm so passionate about giving back. I teamed up with Gold House to launch the JJZ Collective for one simple reason: To offer young women the support and guidance I never received. We’ve brought together 20 promising female founders to receive coaching, mentorship, and access to exclusive events. Moreover, I’m personally selecting three exceptional founders from this group to receive a $10k scholarship each. This initiative is my way of ensuring that no promising young woman has to walk her entrepreneurial path alone. It’s about building a supportive network that has your back now and forever. Let’s empower a future where every woman founder has the community and support she needs to thrive. How are you giving back to women entrepreneurs/leaders? What are you doing to support their success? Let me know in the comments below, and send this to someone in need of a tribe. Thanks for reading! This evening, I had the privilege of attending the 'Women in Entrepreneurship' event, brilliantly organized by Gresham House Ventures and Inspired PLC. The evening was a powerful reminder of how far we've come and the exciting road ahead for Women entrepreneurs. Maya Ward kicked off the event with a refreshing perspective, highlighting some of this year's wins for women in business: - The rise of female-focused funding in the UK, albeit a tiny increase. - Increased representation in leadership roles. - Our first Femtech unicorn. - Important decisions influenced by women for funding women’s health such as Innovate UK’s recent reversal of funding allocations. The Work Continues While these milestones are worth celebrating, they're just the beginning. We must: 1. Amplify women's voices in entrepreneurial spaces 2. Address systemic barriers to funding and growth 3. Foster mentorship networks for aspiring female founders 4. And more… Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur, an investor, or just starting out, your voice and actions matter. #WomenInEntrepreneurship #EquityInBusiness #FemaleFounders

Cooper + Lowe is tailor-made for women stepping into entrepreneurship and thought leadership. As female entrepreneurship grows rapidly worldwide, with Black women's entrepreneurship doubling over the past decade, women now account for 42% of all U.S. businesses and generate $1.9 trillion annually. However, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor indicates that women often face challenging environments, which may contribute to their lower perception of entrepreneurship as a career path compared to men. Why focus on this? National experts consistently point out the insufficient cultural support for female entrepreneurs. It's vital to not only celebrate but also to promote successful women founders as role models actively. Cooper + Lowe strives to fill this gap by offering tools, resources, and real-time experiences crafted by successful women entrepreneurs. This initiative helps women convert theoretical ideas into practical, actionable business strategies, empowering them to succeed in their entrepreneurial journeys. Join us in creating a supportive, empowering network that turns entrepreneurial dreams into reality for women across the globe: https://lnkd.in/eu4Jpsfv #WomenInBusiness #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #Innovation #BusinessIncubator #EmpowerWomen #GlobalEntrepreneurshipMonitor #BusinessGrowth

🎯 Milestone Alert: Women entrepreneurs claimed 50% of the #entrepreneurmagazine 2024 standout founders list! Here's the reality check: female founders still receive only 2.1% of VC funding, despite generating higher revenue per dollar invested. At Meredith College School of Business, we're changing this narrative by empowering the next generation of women leaders who blend profit with purpose. Also, shout out to the incredible visionaries--Maximillian D., Ernesto "EJ" Pineda, and Alexandra Tieu at Twenty Five Ventures who recognize the opportunity in diverse founders. Proud to share my thoughts on this transformation and why supporting women entrepreneurs isn't just about equality—it's about unleashing untapped economic potential. Finally, as I reflect on the completion of my first semester at Meredith College, and the incredible learners in my class, I can't help but be anything less than optimistic. Special thanks to the incredible women leaders who raised their hands to share their time, talent, and stories with the students. Sherry Chris, Annelies M.
