Many chefs and restaurant owners are scared of having Caviar on the menu but it’s a great addition. While it might not be a top seller for 99% of restaurants, it won’t lose you money and offers a very special option for your guests. The Beluga caviar from @khaviyarcaviar boasts a creamy, buttery flavour. Why go out when you can bring the restaurant home? 🍕 Zizzi Restaurants is expanding again, this time bringing their Italian restaurant experience straight to supermarket shelves. With a brand-new range rolling out in Tesco and Waitrose, they’re serving up high-quality dishes like Rustica Aubergine Parmigiana Pizza and a bold new Pappardelle Beef Ragu. It’s a trend we’re seeing more of: beloved restaurants stepping into retail to meet customer demand for premium “dine-at-home” options. The question is, would you skip the night out if you could grab restaurant-quality dishes in-store? Do you have a go-to supermarket ‘dine-at-home’ meal? https://lnkd.in/eKV2aVcs

Do you like fried calamari at a restaurant? Did you know that most restaurants actually serve cuttlefish rings and not calamari because calamari is much more expensive but still labeled as such on the menu? It's one of my pet peeves, highlighting yet another deception in the food industry. We've reached a point where the majority of people, including some restaurants themselves, are unaware of the distinction. Let's keep an eye out for these subtle but significant differences in our dining experiences. #FoodIndustry #Calamari #Transparency
