Nottingham vs Tottenham: Sequences: Defensive Coordination & Build up transition - Proper defensive transition from Nottingham to avoid possibility of near options of play for Kulusevski ( dynamic superiority play) - Ball zone overload + proper tracking from nearest marker in action to avoid Johnson to interact in wide channel - After Elanga came out in second half, Nottingham became more compact in a united of 1-5-4-1 defensive structure in midblock and low block. Throughout it, spurs had difficulties in breaking through the organized zonal marking from opposition. - In first half, a solution from spurs was to bring awareness and decoys in half spaces to generate space in central for central forward to drop short and interact as the free man. However, an issue for this to happened was the indecision from Murillo to jump towards his pair (Solanke) without doing so, it caused a fluid progression in attack. Spurs had trouble breaking through a highly dynamic and physical Nottingham forest. #NottinghamForest #Tottenham #soccercoach #footballanalysis #futboltactico #matchanalysis #footballtactics #sportsanalysis

Premier League Bournemouth vs Spurs - Bournemouth's Set piece set up, usage of 'cover' in numerical equality at central to allow player in-behind to exploit free space in Isolated farthest post through blindspot movement. - Aggressiveness out of possession and ball recovery through ball zone overload + dynamic offensive transition after recovery 2nd ball in threatening space against opposition's rest defense. Bournemouth was a machine of Aggressiveness and constantly going for duels to get the chance to start dangerous situations. Outside of it, Spurs high-back line was exposed multiple times as Bournemouth dynamic approach off-ball allowed to not give time and space to react to either son, Kulusevski or Maddison. Most of the times those duels would be collective with closing nearest options and provoking suffocation around possessor. #bournemouthfc #soccercoach #footballanalysis #footballtactics #futbolentrenador #futboltactico #tottenham #footballscout #matchanalysis #sportsanalysis #

Manchester United vs Newcastle Sequences: - 4-3 In initial build up structure from Newcastle. Also, Width as best progressive zones with low positioning fullbacks as opposition's tendency to keep center zones in-compression. - Man to man marking with dynamic jumps around ball zone, disrupting neareast options to play, fluidity in build up and provoking discomfort for possessor. Nonetheless, this used to be a common approach from Newcastle as United had trouble into finding their farthest man ( Wing-backs in maximal width) as they would be constantly under proper direct marking with their pairs (Newcastle's fullbacks) - Newcastle's fluidity in build up, exploiting the passiveness in marking from opposition In central zones. - Threatening positioning and rotations from Gordon ( more into half spaces rather than out-wide in channels) pinning Mazraoui, doing so it would avoid his correction to mark Lewis Hall (FB) in total Isolation in beyond positioning. - Superb interpretation of spaces from Isak to approach in intervals and have the physical superiority against Lisandro Martinez as the 'target' man and zone/positioning to exploit in air duels. - Newcastle's usage of 1-5-4-1 midblock and low block defensive foundations with proper inner coverage of spaces and fluid defensive shuffle. #NEWCASTLEUNITED #MANCHESTERUNITED #FOOTBALLTACTICS #FUTBOLTACTICO #SOCCERCOACH #MATCHANALYSIS #FOOTBALLSCOUT

England analysis vs Denmark In my opinion, we need to be more aggressive off the ball. Here is why: 6/10 outfield players that start for England play a pressing system within their Premier League club. Key principles: ✅ Triggers ✅ Trapping the opposition on one side of the pitch ✅ Denying switches ✅ Pressing to regain possession ✅ Remaining compact within 3/5 lanes in relation to the ball #Football #Euros #England #Analysis #Footballcoach

In Video: Omar Marmoush expected to fly to UK this week for Manchester City move | Good Morning Transfers LIVE Manchester City Eyeing Up Fresh Signings, But Will Transfer Deadline Day Sizzle or Fizzle? As we hit the halfway point of January transfer window, one thing is for certain: the Premier League will be on everyone's mind ahead of Transfer Deadline Day. Amidst the commotion, Manchester City stands out as one club that seems destined to make headlines. They are reportedly set to sign not one, not two, but three new players to bolster their ranks. Oleksandr Marmash has already undergone his medical ahead of a transfer worth £33.5 million plus bonuses, and Vitor HM is expected to complete his switch from PFM for £29.4 million. But which positions do City need to address, and how will the new arrivals integrate into Pep Guardiola's already star-studded squad? It's worth noting that the manager has emphasized his desire to refresh the squad following a slump in form, especially in defense, where a clogged-up box has left goalscoring a rarity. However, there may be room for experimentation and exploration of fresh ways to exploit City's formidable opponents. Another burning question surrounds Jamie Vardy and Leicester City. With 11 points separating themselves from the Championship, what course of action would you expect Leicester to take before the transfer deadline? Will they bolster their defense to shore up lapses and boost their relegation fight? To answer this query, it may be prudent to examine Leicester's current standing within the transfer window. If Vardy continues his impressive goal-scoring run and the squad capitalizes on decent performances, may they ride their luck all the way to 17th, or are these final days vital for ensuring another season of Premier League action? #Sport #championship #ENGLAND_FOOTBALL #Jamie_Vardy #January_Transfer_Window #Leicester_City #Manchester_City #Oleksandr_Marmash #Pep_Guardiola #PFM #Premier_League #Transfer_Deadline_Day #Vitor_HM

LBW for the win... Lewis v Wandsworth London Borough Council [2020] EWHC 3205 (QB) On 28 August 2014, L was walking with a friend through Battersea Park, a large (200-acre) Victorian park that includes two cricket pitches, one smaller with a path around its edge and a second larger one, as well as other attractions. While walking, L heard a cry from her left. She turned her head to the left, inclined her head upwards, and was struck in the left eye with a cricket ball. The strike caused serious facial injuries to L. L sued the London Borough of Wandsworth (LBW 😁), which is responsible for maintaining and operating the park. In the first instance, after a trial in the Wandsworth County Court, L won, and LBW was ordered to pay damages of £17k and the same in costs. The Court distinguished L’s claim from the landmark decision in Bolton v Stone [1951] AC 850 (we've posted about this case before), finding LBW 😁 had failed in its duty owed to park users by permitting pedestrians to walk alongside the cricket pitch without offering any warning that a cricket match was in progress with a hard ball being used. On appeal, LBW (😁) succeeded. “The case is very different from Bolton v Stone. The risk of balls being hit towards the path was so evident that any warning should have been superfluous….To a reasonable person a warning in the terms suggested by the Recorder was unnecessary and irrelevant.” “What I frankly fail to understand is how the Recorder could envisage that a cricket match played by adult men could be assumed by any reasonable passer-by to be using a soft ball. This would have been particularly so if they were wearing whites and therefore playing what would appear to be a serious match.” “I reach the conclusion that the Recorder's judgment was wrong. He failed to take account of material factors and there was a lack of logic in his analysis of the facts. In the circumstances which obtained, allowing pedestrians to walk along the path when a cricket match was taking place was reasonably safe, the prospects of an accident (albeit nasty if it occurred) being remote.” #legalhistory #law #negligence #cricket #notkrickkit #aussie #warnie
