Seven years ago, I could see so many smaller #lifescience companies that needed effective marketing, but their efforts were being hampered by a lack of internal resources or budgets that would be quickly depleted by traditional agency fees. So, I took the plunge and set up a marketing consultancy that would work for them. Starting with zero clients, I’m so proud of what Viveo - Marketing for Bioscience has achieved since then. So, I just want to give a big shout out to everyone who believed in me and supported our growth. Thank you to Lorna Cuddon for my first lead and Robin Bodicoat and Quotient Sciences for being my first client. And, as we've grown, so have our capabilities and experience. Working with the creative talent of Gary Brooks and Chris Rambridge is always great fun. I get to explain the science stuff while they constantly remind me that scientists are people first and foremost. We keep each other grounded. What we all love is that every client has a different challenge. Finding practical and meaningful solutions is what makes the work so interesting and rewarding. From our smallest client with three employees to our largest with over 2,000. We’ve now worked across numerous areas including biotechnology, cell-based assays, CRO and CDMO services, genomics, laboratory equipment and automation, medical devices and packaging, microscopy, protein analysis and reagents. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we still have plenty more adventures in marketing to come.
