I am no expert on the topic, but for those that are wondering when the VC investment pace will "pick up," I say look no further than distributions. While capital is a "stock," the distribution of capital is a "flow." Money needs to go back to GP's before those funds can be recycled into new funds, and thus into VC-backed companies. NOTE: ~75% of those distributions were to Reddit and Astera Labs.
