Through the Global Tech Experience journey, I learned intercultural skills and the ability to interact effectively and appropriately with diverse team members in an online environment. Activities included intercultural communication practice, personal reflections, and workplace situations simulations. Topics covered included: cultural self-awareness, managing bias, building emotional intelligence, and managing stress responses. Skills developed included: listening for understanding, suspending judgment, and cultivating curiosity and cultural humility.

Embrace the Talk! 🗣️ As it is #InternationalMotherLanguageDay today, I reflect on the richness of our global community. 🌍 Growing up in a multicultural environment, having Italian and Slovenian roots, moving a lot, and living in several places such as USA, South Korea, Switzerland and Germany, I've witnessed the power of diverse languages. At Microsoft, we understand that language is more than communication—it's an expression of identity. Our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion extends to the vibrant tapestry of languages spoken by our incredible global teams. Let's celebrate our linguistic diversity! Share a favorite phrase from your mother tongue and its translation.
