While restoring classic Disney animation frame-by-frame, I'm constantly in awe and reverence of the craftsmanship and artistry on display. One of the more fascinating aspects is the "Smear" cells used to simulate motion blur such as Donald seen here in "The Clock Watcher" (1945).
