Please don't buy any Samsung products because after selling the product, they just give you a card in the name of warranty to trouble you. my request ID is 4393719272
I bought a TV from Samsung on May 23, 2024, for almost 2 lakhs. After just 5 days, the display started having problems. After talking to the service center, they came to check and said the TV panel needed to be changed. It's been 1.5 months now, and I have to call them every day. No one replies to emails, and I am tired of calling customer care, but they always tell me to wait. There is still no update, and they are saying there are no parts available. If there are no parts, why did they sell me the product? Has the reliability of the Samsung brand diminished so much that they can't produce or keep parts in stock? I did not expect this from Samsung, but after reading many reviews, I see many people are facing the same problem. I am now applying to go to consumer court. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on such poor service. They are just passing the time under the name of service without providing a solution. The person I have been talking to has the email ID: jitender.s@partner.samsung.com, and my request ID is 4393719272.
Sounds like good advice that applies well beyond grade school — “Embrace the messy, admit what you don't know, and give kids agency.” Thanks for sharing Samsung Electronics America. And congrats to Corrie Christensen and the Stillwater student team!

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, we’re shining the spotlight on some of our inspiring grantees! This week's organization is the Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI), dedicated to improving the education, health, and well being of youth and communities of color by empowering them to enact social change through research, training, and community mobilization.
SJLI operates three core programs to better serve the whole community:
• Empowering Through Education – Using education as a tool to empower communities of color to unlock their ability to change their lives and the world around them. Programs include Urban Scholars, which aims to support youth of color in increasing academic achievement, graduating from high school, and transitioning to college.
• Creating Thriving Communities – Working to transform neighborhood conditions by improving the built environment and expanding access to resources that enable residents to be healthy and thrive. SJLI's Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) nutritional education program provides community members with opportunities to expand their knowledge, understanding, and access to healthy living activities.
• Changing Systems – Building capacity for community members to identify and rectify injustice and to advocate for policies that address their needs. SJLI's Youth Justice Fellowship (YJF) delves into systemic issues impacting education, economics, youth development, community empowerment, health, environment, criminal legal system, and policy.

Having completed this Strategic Plan, we are excited to share this summary that frames how we will allocate and augment our resources to realize our strategic goals moving forward.
Many thanks to our Board of Trustees, Faculty and Staff, Parents and Guardians, and various partners and friends for their significant contributions to this work. This document summarizes our collective vision, and we're excited to realize the vision with you over the next few years and beyond.

I believe fostering partnerships between community organizations and schools is essential for achieving educational equity.
A compelling example of this collaboration comes from Child Trends, highlighting crucial steps for strong family-school partnerships. First - designing a shared vision and goals, Second - developing shared norms, expectations communication processes, and Third - consistent and meaningful engagements. The brief also talks about Kingmakers of Oakland, an impactful community organization across the Bay.
At Bridge the Gap we are proud to work with the Sausalito Marin City School District to emulate such impactful collaborations. These approaches are one of the many powerful initiatives to achieve equity in education!

When a family selects a school for their children, it is a deeply personal and thoughtful decision.
I’m working with a district that needs to think about school sizes and attendance zoning. When framing questions with constituents around school sizes, everyone defaults to “we prefer small schools.”
I get it. I benefit from a small neighborhood school where this little guy gets to walk with big brother every day. But I’ve also seen well run large elementary schools that offer SO MANY more programs and services than my son’s school. The challenge is that if your experience in a large school has not been stellar, you’re going to defer to personal experience.
These are complex discussions and decisions, which is why Education Elements front loads our strategy work with robust community engagement. Because when planning happens with people and not at people, it creates less friction and more support.
