🌍 Today, we celebrate Human Rights Day – a moment to reflect on the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to every person, everywhere. Human Rights Day reminds us of the power of equality, dignity, and justice. Yet, many around the world still face discrimination, violence, and oppression. 📢 It's time to take action: ✔️ Speak up for those whose voices are silenced. ✔️ Educate yourself and others about human rights issues. ✔️ Support initiatives that fight for equality and justice. Every action counts. Together, we can create a world where human rights are not just ideals, but realities for all. #bansalmarine #HumanRightsDay #Maritime #Marine #marinemanufacturer #alfalaval #alang #india #europe #smmexhibition #WaterDesalination #HeatExchangerSolutions #ReconditionedSeparators #RefurbishedSeparation #ReconditionedEquipment #SeparatorRefurbishment #CentrifugeRequirements #IndustrialCentrifugeNeeds #SeparationEquipment #CentrifugeDemand #LiquidProcessingNeeds #CentrifugeEssentials #LiquidHandling #CentrifugeTechnology #CentrifugeExperts #CentrifugeOptimization #HighSpeedCentrifuge #OilWaterSeparation #SustainableSolutions #GreenTechnology #EcoFriendly

When Tradition Meets Protest: A Powerful Moment in New Zealand’s Parliament Imagine a parliamentary debate interrupted by a traditional Maori haka—a stirring chant of challenge and defiance. That’s exactly what happened in New Zealand last week when Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, a young Maori lawmaker, boldly stood up to protest a controversial bill about the Treaty of Waitangi. Her act not only disrupted proceedings but also echoed through the hearts of many, sparking national conversations about race, rights, and unity. This moment wasn’t just about protest—it was a profound reminder of how courage and cultural expression can challenge systems and inspire action. Thousands of New Zealanders are now preparing to march in defense of fairness and inclusion. For us in the professional world, there are lessons to take away: 🛡️ Courage matters—whether it’s standing for your team or your values, bold action can create change. 🌍 Cultural identity is strength—diverse voices add richness to any organization or society. 🤝 Unity builds progress—even amidst differences, collaboration paves the way forward. As we begin this week, let’s think about how we can champion inclusivity, respect diversity, and lead with courage in our own spaces. What do you think about the role of leadership in navigating such complex issues? Let’s discuss. #MondayMotivation #Leadership #DiversityAndInclusion #CulturalHeritage #Teamwork

🌿 Collaborative Solutions for Sustainable Development 🌿 Recently, I presented on how NGOs like CAP and SAM united under Friends of Penang Hill (FPH) to advocate for responsible development on Penang Hill. Together, they’re paving the way for sustainable change through organized and inclusive advocacy. Key takeaways from their approach: 1️⃣ Unity in Action: By joining forces, these NGOs strengthened their voice for more effective advocacy. 2️⃣ Eco-Friendly Development Plans: Rather than opposing all development, FPH proposed sustainable options, showing that nature and growth can coexist. 3️⃣ Political and Media Support: Backed by local leaders and media, FPH increased public awareness and government accountability. 4️⃣ Consistent Coordination: Regular meetings ensure aligned goals and strong communication within the coalition. 5️⃣ Inclusive Public Outreach: Multilingual campaigns break barriers, ensuring diverse communities understand and support their mission.

So important to challenge the freedom from colonialism = free enterprise myth being touted during this #bcelxn. There’s a dangerous libertarian argument that Conservatives promote to working class and Indigenous people alike that freedom means fee simple land holdings and the private market. But freedom actually comes from collectivism, mutual aid, public health, public education, public childcare. It’s important to vote to protect communities over private interests.
I know people try to avoid political talk on Linkedin because, well people want to get jobs and make contacts and expand professional development and opportunities, as well as celebrate their achievements. But in the provincial election in BC, the conservative party wants to send us back into the past, hindering opportunities for Indigenous people and putting Indigenous rights and Indigenous people's human rights at risk. For instance, he (Rustad) voted against the "Nang K'uula • Nang K̲'úulaas Recognition Agreement, which recognizes the Haida Nation as the holder of Haida Title and Rights, and the Council of the Haida Nation as the governing body of the Haida Nation and accompanying Haida Nation. And that party would repeal DRIPA (Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People Act). And would cut $4 billion from health care. And thinks that there isn't enough electricity in BC to fuel EVs. I mean that is so laughable. (I also see that social media doesn't promote political posts that criticize conservative politics.)

[World Children’s Day] Dear Foreign Policy Enthusiasts, Today embarks the day to celebrate the special role of our youngest member in society in shaping a brighter future. On this day in 1959, the UN set the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, followed in 1989 by the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Since then, World Children’s Day has become a global celebration of our commitment to protect, nurture, and respect every childens's rights. The Convention stands on four key principles that empower and uplift children around the world. It is important to understand thorough that these pillars guide us toward creating a world where every child feels secure, valued, and heard, no matter their background or circumstances. A child right is a human right. As we celebrate World Children’s Day, let’s amplify our efforts to create a nurturing world where every child can flourish and dream. Together, we can make every child’s rights a reality. For Every Child, Every Right. Thank you for your attention.
