🌟 Exciting Internship Update 🌟 I am thrilled to share insights into my current internship at L2S, focusing on "Low-latency Video Delivery for Delay-Critical Applications." This project explores cutting-edge methods to reduce latency in video transmission for applications like telepresence, tactile internet, and the metaverse. In today's fast-paced world, reducing latency—defined as the time between image acquisition and display—is crucial for seamless user experiences, especially in remote car driving and similar real-time scenarios. Our research delves into enhancing traditional solutions by developing real-time control methods for video encoder parameters. This involves adapting encoder output rates at the frame level to optimize quality while minimizing end-to-end latency. This internship at L2S presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolving landscape of low-latency video delivery, leveraging technologies like H.264/AVC, HEVC, and 5G networks. AI Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) During summer, I was taking a 3 month long internship at Huawei R&D center. The project was related to validating an AI ANC model by building and comparing it to a classical solution. It was challenging to dive into acoustics and sound field since I had no experience in this field before. However, it turned out to be very interesting! A funny thing that the noise cancelling was invented in 1930-s to make a manufacture worker easier by suppressing static noise from large machines. I finished classical procedure ahead of the schedule and implemented easy to check stability algorithm for Infinite Impulse Response filters (IIR). During this internship, I learned a lot about acoustics, and methods to measure the performance of ANC algorithms. Has someone had an experience with acoustics applications?

Internship Week 5-6 update! I have learned how to conduct markdowns through the use of Burlington's Bluetooth technology. We connect the printer to the handheld scanner which we login using our employee badge. Then, we connect the finger scanner to the handheld scanner and scan all the items in our assigned section. When the item is scanned, a clearance sticker will print if the item is to be marked down. Overall, this experience has helped me increase my knowledge of this technology and has shown me how correct pricing is accomplished.

The first thing I need to do in starting my career path is to consolidate my hard skills. How can I achieve it as a student without internship position secured: watching some online learning material How can I encourage myself to learn engineering knowledge: CCTV TV series, like 《中國經濟大講堂》；Citywalk, car driving videos taken in Mainland China；Computer games like 《QQ飛車》. The purpose is to appreciate how engineering and technology improved our living environment and our economy.

This research presents an efficient DE algorithm tailored for the sum rate maximization in Multi-User NOMA systems under the influence of channel estimation errors. The proposed DEA demonstrates its effectiveness in mitigating the impact of imperfect CSI on NOMA performance.
