Yesterday I received an email response from a medical office telling me that they are "all set" with the current merchant processor they have in place. But they would keep my info on file . This was in response to me advising them that they are using terminals that are well past end of life ( 2017 End of Life for Ingenico iCT 220 ) and in need of an upgrade for a variety of reasons. This is mind blowing to me . And it happens all the time . I have had very large multi location chains say the same thing . I would argue that if your processor or BANK is not telling you or sending out new machines to replace old machines that they need to be FIRED ! In all likelihood they have also raised processing rates by a lot - Truist , Heartland and NAB come to mind. Here is Ingenico’s End Of Life Notice on their website- Payment devices (hardware) and POS applications (software) are evolving technologies. They follow a natural product life cycle. Payment hardware is primarily governed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council’s (PCI SSC) regulatory compliance requirements, EMVCo and Card brand requirements, in addition to market activity and market demand. Ingenico US is taking the action to EOL the PCI-PTS v3.x iCT220 and iCT250 products listed above due to the replacement products having vastly improved performance, include new functionality needed by the market, while being certified to the latest security and card brand specifications.

I was able to scrape all their orders 😂 However, the lack of response of 1A was disappointing. 1A was in the process of being acquired by Senukai and they probably didn't want too much buzz, so they decided to ignore, as they would anyway soon migrate to a new platform. And they actually did, case closed. Wanna know what else bug left in the old 1A platform? ;) So, they had a very funny bug that I (again) haven't enough time to make a write-up about. In case your order was canceled or delayed or to compensate for other customer frustrations, 1A had discount vouchers that you could use for your next purchase. It could be in percent (ex, 10% off) or in EUR (ex, 10 euro discount). The percent worked well. But the discount with the exact amount worked in some weird way. If during checkout you apply the voucher and go back and add the same product once again - the discount would double. And if you remove the last product from the cart - the discount would not change. So, by putting in and out the same item you could reach 100% discount :D Senukai got it just in time 😂 See you next #ThrowbackThursday !

Way to go T-Mobile..... Ordered my daughter her first phone for Christmas and check out this order of events. 1. Order was cancelled for no reason 2. Re-placed the order, that was damaged in shipping and the phone was lost. 3. Spoke to customer care, they tried to resubmit the order at almost double the initial cost. 4. Went to the store, they wouldn't talk to me because my wife set up the account 5. Got back on the line, was assured we'd have the phone in 48 hours. received an email stating it had shipped. 6. 48 hours later, back on the line with customer care trying to find the phone. 6b. While on the chat someone else calls from T-Mobile calls to tell me the phone from #2 was lost, and i should re-order it. 7. Hour and half on chat with them, they decide they can't help me and have to call in and deal with support over the phone. We had a good run, way to screw this up. AT&T Can you do better?
