To all my family, friends and business colleagues who asked about our experience with the recent hurricanes passing through Florida, I can let you know we were not impacted in any way.
What impacted us more was what we observed at the recent HP NonStop TBC 2024 conference in Monterey. Surprised? I doubt it - the conference was that good. And why? The level of networking and experience sharing we witnessed. Yes, Margo and I were able to see firsthand just how far deployment of the newer, modern, open and industry-standard NonStop systems have come and the degree of benefits being provided to enterprises.
Right now, we are working through a number of NonStop vendor, consultant and even NonStop thought leaders submissions to the upcoming October issue of NonStop Insider - the first issue in its ninth year of publication. Almost of the provided an unparalleled view into what they witnessed at NonStop TBC 20204.
If you are still working through the many posts, commentaries and articles, rest assured you will find it all covered in this issue - look for it as it is (digitally) published early next week.
In the meantime, having arrived back in Florida after the drive from Monterey, I can take in the beauty of the fall sunsets along the Emerald Coast. and to all those who were impacted by the hurricanes and suffered losses, our condolences together with our expressions of hope for a timely routine to a level of normalcy Margo and I wish for you.
