CARBON CIRCLE SIGNES STUDY CONTRACT FOR HAVSTJERNE CO2 INJECTION UNIT Preparing the future for large scale injection of CO2 OSLO – 24th of April 2024 – Carbon Circle AS has been awarded a significant study contract for the ground-breaking Havstjerne CO2 Injection License, on behalf of Altera Infrastructure and its Stella Maris CCS solution.     The Havstjerne development is a concept of collecting CO2 from locations across Europe, transporting the CO2 to an offshore injection site, and injecting it into a subsea reservoir via a Direct Injection Unit (DIU). Carbon Circle will under this engineering contract perform the design of a remotely operated, normally unmanned DIU with capacity to receive and inject 11 million ton per year of liquefied CO2.     The Havstjerne license (EXL006) is located in block 9/3, 9/6 and 10/4 in the southern NCS with Wintershall Dea 60 % operatorship and Altera Infrastructure as partner with 40% ownership.     Mr. Kristian Kjæstad, SVP Engineering of Carbon Circle says: “We are proud to be entrusted by the license partners in Havstjerne to achieve this milestone, and we will apply our cross-industry experience and expertise to ensure this complex project reaches its final decision gates. L&T Very briefly, I will now comment on the performance of each business segment before we give our final comments. First, Infrastructure, coming to order inflows, this segment secured orders for Rs 401 billion for Q1 FY '25, largely flat on a y-on-y basis. During the current quarter, the orders were largely received in Renewables, Transmission & Distribution, Roads, Nuclear power, Hydel and Tunnel, Ferrous Metals, Health, and the Precision Engineering sectors. Our order prospects pipeline in Infrastructure segment for the remaining nine months is Rs 6.03 trillion vis-a-vis Rs 5.86 trillion during the same time last year. This represents an increase of 3%. The Infra prospects pipeline of Rs 6.03 trillion comprises of domestic prospects of Rs 4.27 trillion and international prospects of Rs 1.76 trillion. The subsegment breakup of the total order prospects in Infra is as follows. Water & Effluent Treatments share is 20%, Power Transmission & Distribution, including Renewables, is at 22%, Transportation Infra 23%, Buildings & Factories 12%, Heavy Civil Infrastructure 18% and the share of Minerals & Metals, the residual 5%. The order book of this segment at Rs 3.25 trillion as of June '24.
