Before you start searching or applying for jobs, it's important to establish one thing: what career goal do you want to achieve? Having clear, realistic, and specific goals will help you stay motivated and focused on your journey. It will also help you narrow down your job search to positions that you are passionate about. Here are a few tips for setting career goals: - Be specific: Don't just say you want to "get a good job." What kind of job do you want? What industry do you want to work in? What are your salary expectations? - Be realistic: Don't set yourself up for failure by setting unrealistic goals. Start with small, achievable goals and gradually work your way up to bigger goals. - Be flexible: Things change, so be prepared to adjust your goals as needed. Everything works! There’s a lot of information out there on what you should, or should not be doing as a job seeker. Everyone is suddenly an expert, and it’s hard to know what is the best tactic for gaining employment. 🤷♂️ I believe that everything works. But not everything works for everybody.
