The cost of a fire risk assessment in the UK can vary depending on several factors, including the size and type of the premises, the level of complexity, and the expertise of the assessor. It's essential to note that fire risk assessments are a legal requirement in the UK under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and failing to comply with this legislation can result in penalties and legal consequences. #firesafety #fireriskassessment #london #realestate #uk #landlords https://lnkd.in/ddpkCurP

Commercial buildings must, by law, have a compliant Building Regulations Certificate - and this must also include a compliant Fire Emergency Evacuation Plan (FEEP). We've written a ten-point checklist to help you understand what a FEEP is, how changes to a building can render the plan non-compliant, and the role a Fire Risk Assessment ((FRA) plays in staying on top of your legal obligations. You can read the checklist in this short blog https://lnkd.in/efFgmSH3, and if you'd like to learn more, you can request your FREE guide to fire protection compliance here: https://lnkd.in/ee4kET5N #passivefireprotection #constructionindustry #commercialbuildings #firesafety #fireprotection

We recently issued an Information Advisory to all regulated companies related to emergency preparedness and response at liquid storage tank facilities. We want to ensure regulated companies are prepared for a potential fire at their facilities. They must have adequate fire protection and an emergency response plan in place. The advisory reinforces our existing regulatory requirements on being prepared for an emergency. It includes a list of preventative actions for companies to ensure they are meeting these requirements. Read the full advisory: https://ow.ly/hePj50QuSQF
