Helping Exhibitors and Marketers Create Buzz, Build Amazing Experiences and Drive Engagement | VP of Sales and Business Development | Builder of Trust | Ski bum, mediocre golfer, craft beer lover
Business travelers… what’s your go to plan for eating/ dining when you’re on the road? I know plenty of folks relish the idea of room service… an opportunity to dine quietly in the comfort of your own room.. maybe in your jammies… maybe not? That’s not me. My strategy, if im not dining with clients or team mates… I’m all about finding a nice bar seat at a good restaurant or sports bar where I can get decent food and have something to watch. **Traveling during March madness makes that very easy!! My goal… look for an opportunity to start a conversation with someone near by. If I’m near the tradeshow that im setting up… maybe it will be an exhibitor or someone connected to the show. That’s cool… a built in common thread. But im not there to sell.. im just there to have a good conversation and see where it goes. Most of the time it’s just that… a good conversation and a chance for me to practice listening and asking good questions! Because im not pushing a sales agenda in these situations…the conversations tend to come pretty easy. I understand that I am an extrovert and not everyone is wired like this… but I am comfortable with leaning into who I am and I enjoy the process!! What is your go to plan for solo dining during business travel? I’m curious what other folks tend to do? #tradeshows #roadwarrior #businesstravel

Hate it when people book a table and then don't show up? We've got an easy tip that can help: Use a Double Opt-In for your bookings. This means you ask your customers to confirm their reservation before the big day. It's a simple change, but it can really cut down on those frustrating no-shows! So, how does it work? After someone books a table, you'll ask them to confirm again closer to their reservation time. This extra step makes sure they're still planning to come, which means fewer empty tables at your place. Why is this a good idea? It reminds your customers about their booking and lets them cancel if they need to, making room for others. It also shows you care about them and are excited to see them. If you are worrying about no-shows try adding Double Opt-In to your booking process. It's easy to do and can help you keep your tables full and your business booming. Want to make booking tables at your restaurant super easy? Contact us today or sign up for a FREE 30-day trial. Hurry, it's a limited-time deal! Before we open we start our day with a premeal. This consist of different topics of conversation that keeps us aligned. We go over any new items, events for the day, and this pictures below is a roleplay being presented. This is reflecting at its finest. Here at Your 3rd Spot™ Social Dining we do roleplays to keep things fresh. As a team in different positions it's fun to hear what one department will spiel to guests vs. another department. When we do these roleplays we always have the team reflect. What did we like or what can we add. Hearing these also keep the team informed and aligned so we are all on one accord. These roleplays are super fun as well with the team because they are always different. We throw out different names and situations. It's always fun to see the reply with who is doing the roleplay because you must know how to answer any curve ball. That's why this team is so great. They test each other because we all have the same goal of winning and delivering the best of the best. Now that is a team. Working together to be better. #your3spot #atl #atlanta #hospitality #teamwork #growth

Hey hospitality heroes! As we approach the weekend, let's celebrate YOU for creating unforgettable guest experiences. At Tablz, we see this firsthand through the guest requests flowing through our platform. The desire for personalization is booming among diners, and these requests illustrate this growing trend. Setting the Stage: "We're celebrating a special occasion. Can we request a window table for a romantic ambiance?" or "Entertaining Important business clients. Prefer the corner booth on the right, if facing out to the city view." Sweet Celebrations: "It's my partner's birthday! Could we arrange a surprise dessert with a message?" or "It’s my 22nd birthday! Possible to get balloons?" Special Touches: "Is there a way to pre-order a bottle of wine for our arrival?" or "We are short on time before our show. Can we pre-order a selection of appetizers to be brought out as soon as we arrive?" What are your thoughts, hospitality leaders? What's the most memorable guest request you've fulfilled recently? Share your stories in the comments! #GuestFulfillment #PersonalizedService #TablzMagic #CreatingMemories #RestaurantLife

🍲 Transforming experiences with the magic of the 95/5% Rule 🍷 Over the break, I delved into Will Guidara INSANELY great book "Unreasonable Hospitality", where the concept of the 95/5% rule really resonated with me. It’s about focusing your efforts on a few key areas that create an outsized impact. 🔍 Case in point: When I led Kitchen Takeover, we would always think of a few memorable showstoppers to make the event seriously memorable and special. The photo below is of the post box we created for our French Christmas experience, Joyeux Noël. We created a menu that looked like a postcard and on the back, diners could tear it off and put it in the post. We then sent the postcard to anyone in NZ. It was all about connection, creativity and community. 📌 Key Takeaway: Next time you're creating an experience, ask yourself – what are my 5% elements that will contribute to 95% of the impact? Channel your creativity and resources into these, and watch your event or experience transform from ordinary to extraordinary. #eventsuccess #foodexperience #foodevents #UnreasonableHospitality

I own 3 restaurants. In most cases, I don't get to enjoy festivals, holidays and weekends. But when I do, I make sure I celebrate the festival like there's no tomorrow! The joys of celebrating these occasions with family and friends. The joy of coming together on a special day. The joy of being with the right people. These moments often pass by in a blur of activity and hustle. People working in restaurant industry can feel me. While most people are gearing up to unwind and enjoy the festivities... We are gearing up for the busiest times of the year. Weekends? Busy. Festivals? Busy. Holidays? Busy. Amidst these busy days, there's a certain satisfaction. Satisfaction in knowing that our dedication keeps the heartbeats of our businesses alive. We may sacrifice our own celebrations. But we are glad our sacrifice is making your celebrations even more amazing. And I wouldn't have it any other way. There are times when I miss out on family gatherings or holiday traditions. But at the end of the day, seeing the smiles on my customers' faces makes it all worth it. The owners. The chefs. The servers. The managers. They are working tirelessly to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. And that is the spirit of hospitality at its finest. PS: Happpppy Holi everyone. #hospitality #restaurantindustry #restaurant #business #entrepreneurship
