Celebrating our San Carlo family by introducing Claudia from San Carlo Bristol! "When I started at San Carlo Bristol 3 years ago as a bartender, I had no idea how much I’d develop, both in my career and as an individual. Now, as Admin Manager, I’m preparing to take on an apprenticeship to deepen my knowledge and skills. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’ve loved being part of San Carlo’s progress. Every day, I see our team’s passion making the restaurant better and better. Of course, I couldn’t have done it without my fantastic colleagues. They’ve supported me every step of the way, proving that in hospitality, teamwork is the secret ingredient to success—along with a good coffee machine!" #CareerTestimonial #CareerGrowth #SanCarloBristol

Check out Episode 2! 🎥
At University of North Carolina at Charlotte Dining, we’ve seen firsthand how internships can shape futures. Brice Royster and Allie Lemings, former Chartwells Higher Education Dining Service interns here , turned their experiences into successful marketing careers with Chartwells post-graduation. Their journeys are a testament to the power of guidance, hands-on learning, and opportunity. Now, as our next generation of interns prepares for graduation, they are reflecting on their transformative experiences through an inspiring medium— a podcast! This project, planned, scripted, and executed by our talented Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services marketing team, led by Mrinali Rao and Matthew Russell, showcases the skills and creativity they’ve honed during their time with us. It’s truly rewarding to see how mentorship fosters growth and opens doors for the next chapter of these students' lives. A huge shoutout to our interns Ashley Legassie and Jasmine Joy Moore for their dedication and to Cam Moses for his sound and videographer skills in bringing their educational voices on graphic design and social media to life! Let’s continue investing in the future by supporting mentorship and internship programs. The impact they create is immeasurable. Enjoy their story on the Podcast. https://lnkd.in/eh2vHG9D #MentorshipMatters #InternshipJourney #UNCCharlotteDining #CareerDevelopment #ChartwellsHigherEd

Journey Through Time: JP's Adventures in the Spirits Industry and the Art of Armagnac What happens when you drive a German Shepherd and a minivan from Florida to Vermont for an internship that changes your life? My guest, Johnathan Page, fondly known as JP and the Minister of Time at Bhakta Spirits, shares his serendipitous journey into the spirits industry. Starting as an intern at Whistlepig in 2017, JP's story is filled with unexpected twists and turns riding shotgun with Raj Bhakta, the founder of Whistlepig and Bhakta Spirits and a force of nature in the spirits world. JP was alongside Raj as he left Whistlepig, as he took time to find his next venture, and as he discovered the wonders of armagnac. Directing Raj and his partner Leo Gibson from place to place around Tenareze (including some good-natured joking), JP went from a trusted associate to a key figure in Bhakta Spirits' development. He - by his own admission - didn't see himself in the spirits industry. Yet hearing him talk both in person and in this interview, the passion shines. He loves telling stories and meeting new people, introducing them to spirits they never thought they'd try let alone hear about. Plus, his stories about Raj are chef's kiss. Thanks everyone for listening, and thank you to JP for entering the Whiskey Ring!
