I’ll repost this to bring positivity to the forefront. I think there should be more ULCC’s to help to make air travel more affordable to everyone. I’m a firm believer in competitive pricing for those less fortunate, for reasons of greedy industry leaders overcharging for services that could be offered for less. It’s not fair, everyone should play on even ground. For example, for an actor, headshots and portfolio photos are unjustifiably expensive, they get maybe 10 shots they can use, and they have to do it every few years. Even the actors who are less fortunate and aren’t booking roles. This gets expensive for them. And most quit and drop out due to how expensive it is to keep up with industry standards. Let’s see if more positive posts can be shared and passed on to try to change the norm. #breakthecycle #truenortherntalents #tntexplosive #tntmembers #producer #productionservices #actor #proprentals #uniformrentals #castingservices

For the sixth consecutive year, Delta Air Lines has topped The Points Guy list of the best U.S. airlines. This ranking is based on data from metrics including operational reliability, customer experience, network, cost and loyalty offerings. Notably, Delta was the top-performing airline in the timeliness category. As we continue to face a busy summer ahead, with demand for travel stronger than we’ve ever seen, this ranking is a true testament to the resilience, teamwork and dedication of Delta people who consistently deliver a safe, clean, on-time operation, with bags. https://lnkd.in/evyB4TUy

Interesting change in strategy and adjustment to their distribution strategy. Open seating is a Southwest hallmark, so are free checked bags.. but not anymore. Now traveler favor what I call boutique airlines like JetBlue, former Virgin America with Premium seating looking to compete in the corporate travel market.. I love the change and upgrade #loveSWA #southwest #premium #reservedseats

My latest story takes a look at recent changes American Airlines is making to its frequent-flier program. Starting July 11, travelers will only earn AAdvantage miles and loyalty points for American flights if they book either with the airline directly, or through a partner carrier or a preferred travel agency. It’s part of American’s fight to get travel agencies to adopt modern booking technology. The new policy comes on the heel of other recent changes. Last year, American ditched traditional award charts for flight redemptions in favor of fully dynamic pricing for award flights. And in 2021, American upended how status was earned through the AAdvantage program entirely. American’s efforts are part of a broader movement across the airline industry to re-evaluate the role of frequent-flier programs. The changes have stoked concerns among some travelers that their hard-earned rewards are being devalued, but American fans say their rewards still allow them to traverse the globe. Read my story to learn more about American’s approach. Which airlines do you have status with, and what do you think of these recent changes? #aviation #airtravel #airlines #travel
