10 things you need to know before starting law school. 1. Clear your schedule for the first month - it’s the easiest time to adapt to law school and learn. 2. Attend pre-law or pre-networking events so you know people (upperclassmen and professors) before you start. 3. Create a law school schedule in advance. 4. Networking is just as important, (if not right behind) grades. 5. I graduated in the bottom 20% of my law school class. Here are three lessons from how my career has unfolded. 1. Practicing law is not at all like law school. 2. The things that make somebody a good law student can be different than what makes a good lawyer. 3. Law school performance doesn’t dictate your potential as an attorney. If you’ve struggled in law school, it's ok. Keep going. You still have a bright future ahead of you.
