I help COACHES & FOUNDERS build strong personal brands that bring in 2x VISIBILITY + QUALITY LEADS | LinkedIn Personal Branding Strategist

I have a client, who has 1500 followers and 1000 connections. But you know what’s the problem with this? Her connections are: -Not active. -Not her target audience. -Not peers from her industry. The problem with having irrelevant connections is: -It hampers your reach. -Your posts don’t reach your ideal audience. But how do we know which connection requests to accept? 📌Step 1: -Check their recent activities. (Posts/comments) 📌Step 2: -If they are active, check if they are: -Your TA. -Your peers. Accept only relevant connection requests. Filter your connections every 2 months to ensure that your list is up to date. 📌P.S.:Join my 2-day Personal Branding Workshop on May 25th-26th. Limited to 10 spots! Register via the link in the comments. 📌If you are a founder/coach looking to elevate your content game and brand, book a FREE call now! (Link in Bio)

I recently remove my LinkedIn connections and saw a significant increase in engagement. One strategy I found helpful was to create a list of ideal connections Sanaida Fernandes

I recently learnt about the importance of having relevant LinkedIn connections. What people do when they start LinkedIn is adding their classmates and friends as connections and it’s becomes irrelevant as they don’t engage with your posts and don’t relate your content as well. So finding meaningful connections on LinkedIn who resonate with your work is extremely important to grow. 🙌

When it comes to accepting or sending connection requests, one should do a thorough review of the profiles. Connections should help you grow and not hamper your reach.
