Disclosing for the first time, an average US Sandbox VR corporate location in 2023 made $1.9M annually. And because we sell bytes, not atoms, we get software-level gross margins. Hitting this level of revenue across our dozens of corporate locations couldn't have been possible without vertically integrating and fine-tuning our business across product, content, operations, and marketing over the years (not to mention COVID becoming our forcing function to massive unit optimization). And that's why opening up franchising is exciting for us. On one end we have the historical and markets to back up our business. On the other end, the more locations we have, the faster we can accelerate innovation and content development, which further benefits every location. Super exciting to be honest. I love how Sandbox chooses to stand alone and not be settled with others technology or UX. Really looking forward to stepping into the holodeck again.

Despite that, many companies are suffering from massively inflation-driven operational costs - especially anything that is directly or indirectly energy-related, whereas the purchasing power of the customers is fading for the same reason. Seen a lot of insolvencies across multiple location-based sectors, including retail and gastronomy here. How challenging is the situation in the US right now?
