What does time mean to you? Some may say time is real, time is illusion of mind, time is business. I heard a few shout ‘Fiji Time’ or ‘SITIMIE’ or ‘wellness time.’ Time is truly significant as it enables us to mark and cherish important events in our lives. 2023: Celebrating the low momentus moments Often when we reflect on the year that was, there’s an inclination to celebrate the momentus moments. The highs, the extraordinary and the glass ceiling moments - which is important. I do find that we neglect the low moments, the moments of survival and the silent battles. These are the moments that don’t make it on a timeline, they are private and they are sacred. These are the moments that are defining, in which you had to pull yourself up, hold space for yourself and fight to see another day. This I believe encapsulates life, in that we live a life riddled with highs and lows. Though the highs are often celebrated publicly, and the lows are held in the chamber of our treasures that are not to be shared with the world - both are the makeup of our entirety. And so, as we reflect… we celebrate the moments that may never be spoken of, never be shared - but were momentus because they remind you of your strength and durability.
