I want some advise. I had several interviews with some good companies and for my surprise their decision was to moved forward with another applicant. I'm being too hard on myself because I want to know what I'm doing wrong. I noticed a few patters of questions these employers asked, were similar. What kind of questions do you have for me ? Why did you leave your last employment? Why just not reapply to your last employment? and these were my honest answers? 1. How was your company created ? . What kind of benefits are offered? 2. I left because their was some changes in my life I had to leave. --- unfortunately, I left because I had two little ones 0 and 6months child I had to take care off, I quit to take some time off. (this was the honest reason why I left ) 3. I did not reapply because positions are filled quick once an employee leaves their position. I honestly broke down after a company made me go for 3 interviews to tell me they are moving on with another candidate. I honestly need a career and stable income. Besides having children, I decided to have my own business. Yet, it harder than having a job. As we all know it's not a made business if their is not consistent money. I been at my worst right now financially and that's why I feel horrible that I can't find a job. my experience is administrative operations , credit analyst and some underwriting. I'm not the perfect person but I'm sure dedicated and wants to learn and progress. I live in a city with so little opportunities (Palmdale). my last employer was Westlake Financial Services. I usually don't tell any employer I'm coming from Palmdale because that's A long way to LA...but I used to drive to Wilsher and was hardly never late or Absent.

What kind of questions do you have for me ? “What would the ideal employee need to learn first in the position & what should their main focus be?” “What would a normal day in this role look like?” Why did you leave your last employment? “With a few life changes, I felt that the position was not a good fit for me and need a position that will amplify my skill set & offer me a position that I can advance my knowledge and skills in as well as grow.”
