This is one of my favourite things to do, managing studies allows for the ability to do trade-off studies and give guidance to clients based on our experience and exposure to the changing variables in the market.

La Trêve Group was started in DRC in 2012 by Tresor herve Kamazani and offered admin services to mines. Three years later the company formally registered in South Africa. In the intervening years, La Trêve has expanded to provide subsidiaries services and products along the mining inception to operation chain. What I particularly liked was Trésor's mentoring approach to new managers: .....While each company within the group is led by managing directors, Kamazani’s hands-on approach is key to ensuring success. “All the MDs of these companies started in the group. I mentored them before giving them portfolios which eventually led to the formation of new companies."... I think it's a great approach to business leadership - enough autonomy to explore and take business chances without being cut adrift. ACTION ALERT: Tell Governor Walz to protect the Boundary Waters by rejecting Twin Metals’ request to conduct exploratory drilling, and by banning copper mining on state lands in the Boundary Waters watershed. Take Action: https://lnkd.in/grCDUPHK ---- Can you imagine a mine underneath a lake that flows directly into the Boundary Waters? Twin Metals recently submitted a request to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to undertake exploratory drilling on state land on the shores of Birch Lake in order to pursue this very dangerous idea. This exploration is solely to advance a sulfide-ore copper mine underneath Birch Lake, the most popular recreation lake in the Superior National Forest outside the Boundary Waters and upstream of the Wilderness. The Twin Metals project has been rejected at every turn, but as long as they continue to push for copper mining in the Boundary Waters watershed, we need to be there to push right back.
