The perpetuation of objectifying women in the media is a stark reflection of our society's deep-rooted issue. Until we change the way women are portrayed in ads, videos, and movies, the mentality of viewing women as objects will persist. It's time to shatter the glass ceiling and challenge the status quo. We need to create a world where women are valued as human beings, not mere objects for gratification. Men, it's crucial to recognize and change your thoughts about women. See them as equals, as individuals with agency and autonomy. Women, teach your sons to respect and cherish women. Instill in them the values of equality and empathy. Together, let's create a society where women can thrive without boundaries or limitations. Where they can: - Pursue their careers, - Make their own choices, and - Live their lives without fear of judgment or objectification. Only then can we hope for a future where women can proudly say: #IWasnt objectified, #IWasnt harassed, #IWasnt held back. Let's break free from the chains of objectification and build a world where women are valued, respected, and empowered. #RespectWomen #EqualityForAll #ObjectificationIsNotOkay
Can anyone say: #IWasnt objectified, #IWasnt harassed, #IWasnt held back?
Thats absolutely true. Women need not be objectified. But the glamour industry has pushed so hard into our minds, even women's too, that this seems absolutely paradoxical. Please don't blame the entire man-kind. Not all men objectify women. There are men who are raising voice against atrocities on women. Secondly, what about those women who are doing crime against women themselves ? Yes, society needs to change its attitude but just by blaming all men, things will not be resolved.
Sanghamitra D. sorry for what happens to women, and sorry to say that you are wrong. It s the father responsibility to educate their children and ask them for respect. And as the leader of the family he is also showing this respect in everything he does. How can women be a good role model of respect for their children as the majority doesn t even respect their husband or ex husband. Unfortunately for women, you receive what you planted.
Makes sense!
Who decides? The biology, the physiology, the psycholgy make men a natural leader of the familly. He is normally stronger, has more emotional control,...than the woman. The problem with equality BS is that it leads to weak men that are acting badly. How can a mother be the role model of his son as she doesn t understand how tough a man s life is? The woman has to submit to his man s leadership and follow him. The role of a man is to protect and provide. The role of a woman is to nurture and both are equally important but not the same. And a strong high value man is not there to humiliate women but to save them and stand for justice.
Objectification in media and society is harmful as it perpetuates the view of women as objects for gratification rather than as human beings. This mentality hinders gender equality, limits women's opportunities, and fosters environments where harassment and discrimination thrive. Changing media portrayals is crucial for creating a society where women are valued, respected, and empowered.
Changing the narrative of how women are depicted in the media is pivotal to reshaping societal perceptions and fostering true gender equality. Let's empower women to be valued for their essence, intellect, and capabilities, not superficial standards.
Creating a world where women are respected as human beings, not objects, is like planting seeds of equality in a garden of empowerment. Time to nurture and grow.
