Our kids created a business plan in 50 minutes! That happened last Thursday in Sanitas during our Take Your Child to Work Day. We wanted to make something out of the box and with purpose. So, we challenged them to create their own company. 🤔 The cultural diversity of the children was interesting. Some roots from South America, some from Caribe, and some from Europe. First, I started explaining in a very simple way, how a company🏢 is created and what is needed. We did a brainstorming; a little bit of guidance, and the challenge began. They had 50 minutes⌛to create the name, slogan, logo, products/service, marketing, how to get the money, the customers and service. After lunch we had our rehearsal. Just a few tips about public speaking, key words to say, and they got it in no time! 👏. They knew their projects would be presented to our senior management and we wanted to make it unforgettable. At 3 p.m. the event started. I was the MC introducing the little ladies and gentlemen and their projects. The judges gave their feedback and the kids listened with great attention to each of them. They presented 4 projects: “Musical Restaurant”, “Board and Bash”, “Fut–Strike”, and “Espresso Coffee”. Of course, I cannot disclose 🙊the details of every project for future trademark purposes…😆 The kids went home very happy telling their families about this amazing experience, and our employees totally proud of their kids seeing them exuding maturity and self-confidence speaking with no fear in front of our Global CEO, Legal Counsel, Senior National Director of Learning and Deployment, VP of Strategic Projects, and VP of Mental Health. My gratitude to our leaders who with no doubt paused their busy agendas to be there for our kids: the future entrepreneurs of our country.
