Famous software guy known as DHH says that at his company their 6-week product planning cycle is the same amount of time as their six-week development cycle, and they zeroed in on this through trial and error. Planning the product farther ahead than what they could foresee in the design space didn't work as well. It's interesting because there is a parallel phenomenon in manufacturing where you can't effectively build things out past your demand forecast. #TheoryOfConstraints

We are your IT Sustainability Parter, different to the OEMs. We REDUCE IT Costs, Consumption and Waste. REPURPOSE Assets you no longer need with REWARDS back to you. We live and breathe the #circulareconomyaustralia
The OEM Meeting V's Recirc IT Meeting (in tough times)..... I hear the conversation sounds lsomething like this: OEM: - "Unfortunately due to supply issues we are implementing a 12% price increase" - "These devices are all going to be end of software support by this date so suggest you replace them to avoid security issues" - "These items are nearing end of life so the support costs will be going up" - "These licenses are no longer perpetual so will need to be renewed this year" Recirc IT Talk Track - "How can we help? What is most pressing OPEX or CAPEX?" - "If OPEX, let us take a look at your support outgoings and see if we can demonstrate optimisation? - "Where does CAPEX need to be invested in maintaining the status quo or innovation?" - "What CAPEX investments are going to help you achieve your KPI's?" - " Perhaps we look at how we can delay non critical OEM CAPEX investments and divert those funds to innovation?" I've worked in the OEM world for a long time and even I was bored of the ambulance chasing. If you put yourself in the shoes of the OEM what would you be doing differently? I would be really interested to hear your thoughts.

How did you transition into Sales Engineering? I'll start first. I transitioned internally from a Customer Support Engineering role at Fastly. Working in a Support role gives you a lot of insight into how customers are using your product, what problems they have, and how to fix them. It is great for learning the product, developing empathy, and improving your technical skills. What was your story. Drop it below.

New equipment in place for higher quality. Continuous improvement in machinery and processes is crucial to meet the high demands of our customers.
We keep investing in our factory! 🚀 This week we commissioned a new inline loss tester together with a thickness gauge in our final annealing line. This results in better measuring stability and increased measuring capabilities. ⚡ Curious what we can do for you? Check our page, and get in contact!
