Are you or your child looking to access Makaton training but wondering about funding options? 🤔 At Sign and Bloom, we’re committed to making communication accessible for all, and there are various funding streams available that could help cover the costs of your training. 1. Family Fund The Family Fund provides grants for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child. They offer support for a variety of needs, including communication aids and training like Makaton. You can apply directly to the Family Fund for funding, and if eligible, this could cover the costs of your Makaton training. 2. EHCP Personal Budget If your child has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), you may be entitled to a personal budget. This budget can be allocated to support specific outcomes in the EHCP, including communication development. Makaton training could be included as part of your child’s provision, so it’s worth discussing with your EHCP coordinator. 3. Local Authority Funding In some cases, your local authority may offer funding or grants for training that supports communication needs. Reach out to your SENCO or local SEND team for guidance on available funding streams in your area. Congratulations, New Bridge Cleveland! 🏥    The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a shortage of nearly 200,000 nurses and 124,000 doctors by the 2030s. New Bridge Cleveland officials are efficiently working to meet the growing need.    Nonprofit @New Bridge Cleveland is dedicated to supporting Cleveland, Ohio locals with their healthcare careers by providing healthcare education and certifications free of charge.    The nonprofit's goal is simple. Train students for allied health careers, help them achieve the proper certification in their field of interest, and ensure they're prepared once they begin working on hospitals, labs, or exam rooms.    The operation's success is leading New Bridge Cleveland to a new, 66,000 sq. ft. facility, which will soon undergo major renovations. The new facility will be equipped with larger classrooms to accommodate more students and a daycare center to ensure parents and caregivers can get the training they need to lead sustainable careers.    This expansion not only addresses critical healthcare shortages but also supports community members in balancing career development with family needs.
