Well done to Newmont on taking the prompt action - it sets an example on how we should respect the observations and data. Well done to the Telfer team, we look forward to the learnings in due course. There is no competitive advantage when it comes to managing risks related to health, safety, environment and community - we all need to learn from each other and lend our support as required.

Well done Telfer for actually advising DEMIRS. much better response than some of the other big boys in WA who continue to do nothing in response to their unsafe dams. Most interesting is abc news report that says EOR issued report that it was safe on 6 Jan but prohibition issued 2 days later. is the eor system of any value?

I do not know, is what they must do, is part of the job be sure any risk must be checked there is no second read on that

Well Done Newmont Corporation. An unconditional focus on zero probability of an event occurring always guarantees the most favorable outcome.

Seismic monitoring is necessary!

What is the significance of a cracked TSF? Seriously? At Telfer, based on ~370000 oz production and 12/30/2023 price of $2,062.90
