*Branding Mistake -Agneepath Yojna* Non political message. Governments made a mistake of presenting the scheme. *TATA made the same mistake of Nano.* *TATA portrayed Nano as the cheapest poor man's car. It was a complete misunderstanding of the Indian mindset.* Indian people buy cars for pride and show off. Convenience of transportation is secondary. Now, if one buys a poor man's car, how would he get pride of richness?... Nano failed miserably. Dream Mr Ratan Tata sir shattered due to poor marketing. TATA could have branded Nano as a family car, an office car, easy parking...Etc.. *Govt made the same mistake of incorrect branding of Agnipath.* When people think of Job. What comes to their mind? Job for a few decades--> Marriage--> Kids-->Pension Job seekers want security. The 4 year job duration is temporary. The marriage market demands a secure job...₹10000 salary ka peon  bhi chalega but he should have a secure job.. Job and marriage are closely linked. *Angniveer  concept as Job is misfired. Because young people can't imagine future after 4 years.* A better proposition could have been... *4 years degree course.* *Bachlor of Defence Services course with handsome Stipend and Lakhs of Rupees on completion of the course.* *Job prospects in Army, CRPF, State police* Everything else remains the same, only the presentation is different. People see education as temporary and it's different from JOB . Youth happily accept education as temporary.  People attend Chillar courses after paying huge fees with no job guarantee... Hardly 5-10% of degree holders get a job which pays more than rs 15000. But, you never see protests in front of colleges. Government made the mistake of understanding the mindset of young people......

Stop buying an electric car!! We (humans) made a terrible mistake in the last century by promoting cars as a means of individual transport and an economic system driven by the desire to own one!! We believed that people of the "developed" countries with more per capita cars are more happier and healthier than poor people living elsewhere!! All countries devised their government policies towards achieving this development "model". But do you know, we live in a finite planet with limited natural resources and we can't have infinite, linear business growth plans. For the whole world to achieve a consumption pattern similar to USA, we need natural resources equal to 6 more earth (like planets) and 3 more earth to reach the European levels. Do we have it? Hence, the governments of rich countries attack and loot poor countries to sustain their consumption or way of life!! Or they do it indirectly through their large corporations. This is the globalised economy for dummies. Now, look at what's happening in the next phase of car-based economic development model. Electric car is considered as the avatar to prevent pollution and stop climate change. Is that so? This is another stupidity that humans are going to venture into. Tell me how much power (electricity) India is producing from clean sources? 75% is still coming from coal. Do we still have more iron, lithium and other natural resources to go for an electric car revolution? Can we afford Tesla (Car) and other automakers to Green Wash themselves to fool you? 🌎 World is My Classroom 🌍 Govt school teacher, Prof Ranajitsinh Disale, a dedicated school teacher from a small village in Solapur district of Maharashtra won 'Global Teachers Award' for his amazing contribution to the field of education. He started his journey with changing the mind-set of parents through regular 'Parents Cultural meetings', followed by initiatives like 'Alarm On - Tv Off' and mobile SMS to parents. First a few months he allowed students to play and enjoy. Slowly he introduced digital learning to them on his own laptop. This all improved the attendance in his class room from 2% to 100% although a first 9 months were hectic to pickup students from fields or homes! Prof Disale had to manage two classes initially, to keep students engaged, he resorted to advance digital tools. He started with innovative concept of 'QR coded text books', which later got so famous that today sixty lakh students across India use this technology. Followed by this Prof Disale started 'Virtual Field Trip' to introduce his students to places described in books, & also connect globally. Prof Ranajit shared his knowledge with other teachers in other schools. In past 7 months, 7 continents, 143 countries, 800 schools and 70k students interacted thr this (Cotd/-) #students #education

India can last just 9 days with the current storage capacity in case of global supply disruption as per economic times. India’s Asian peers China and Japan are way ahead in creating crude storage capacity.While India has a storage capacity of 39 million barrels, China’s total capacity is at 550 million barrels and Japan’s at 528 million barrels, ensuring a supply of over 190 days in the event of a supply disruption. If we had created more space to store crude, we would have secured supplies like our Asian peers.India's lack of storage capacity is an opportunity lost for the country at a time when fuel prices are at historic lows. Building strategic reserves of larger capacity can take 7 to 10 years and at Rs20k+ crores making it challenging. Because of VUCA environment in clean energy transition the investment justification could not be established yet. Energy security is equally important as Military security. if we can procure 36 rafales for a price estimated at €7.8 billion then we should secure funds to implement cheaper and faster solution to build the strategic petroleum reserves as well. There are rapid advancements in developing clean tech solutions that can lower the carbon emission using fossil fuels justifying Strategic Petroleum Reserves. #energysecurity

Yesterday I pledged to my 20,000 Visa colleagues that we will have no COVID-19 related layoffs in 2020. There is enough sadness in the world and already too many families impacted by job losses. I have no interest in contributing to that. Our employees and clients continue to be my top priority during this challenging time.
