Different individuals, different treatment effects!📈📉📊 Come and join me today at posters WE702 to find out how people with chronic pain benefit from our co-developed, blended-care ACT-based treatment! The visual analysis of our ongoing SCED study is completed, thanks to Haya Al Sharaa, and most patients benefit from the treatment on various outcomes. However, also some negative effect appear. This study demonstrates why SCED studies are key to unpack what works for whom! #WC2024 #DAHLIApainproject #chronicpain #ACT #digital Rikard Wicksell, Afra Taygar, Suzanne Petersson, Ida Flink, katja boersma, Laura Simons, Lance McCracken, Patrick Onghena, Johan Vlaeyen, Karolinska Institutet

An interesting first day at EPA. A particular highlight for me were the discussions during the panel on accelerating access to innovative therapies in the UK: - There is clearly massive potential offered by ongoing projects to create a secure and cohesive data environment in the UK, including to identify any areas of inequity in access to care across the NHS ecosystem, and to support implementation of treatments into existing treatment and management pathways - The CDF and IMF were offered as solutions to uncertainty in data packages, but for me there was an unanswered question as to the attractiveness of these schemes for manufacturers - With the wealth of genomics data, the UK provides an attractive opportunity for testing and launching novel diagnostic approaches and gene therapies With high uncertainty around the implementation of the JCA, will the UK pathways offer a chance for reimbursement ahead of the EU? #epaconf #uklifesciences #genetherapy #atmps #jca #realworlddata

The idea of a lifelong #ChronicIllness and the dependence on #research is something very foreign to most people, but for those of us who struggle, it becomes our only #hope. Looking at a #patient holistically with a multiomic approach is what's needed in #health today. If you're attending PMWC - Precision Medicine World Conference be sure to catch Michael Snyder's' presentation on "Transforming Healthcare Using #BigData and #RemoteMonitoring." And for those looking for more insight into the #multiomic familial inherited disease study that I am participating in, below is a sneak peek to the video that will be shown at the Stanford Snyder Lab booth (A402). Be sure to stop by, watch the (short) video and let us know your thoughts. #Reasons4Research #DataEquity #ConnectWithIntent #CollectiveIntelligence #CollaborativeLeadership #PMWC24 Research to the People PWE Kane Chloe Hsu Euan Ashley Rachit Sood, CISSP Bill Paseman Matthew Liebers, MD Alice Rathjen Michael O'Reilly Tal Behar Amrie Grammer PhD Lindsey Wahlstrom-Edwards Veronika R.
