🌟 I saved this post, especially for today! 🌟 #AllWomenteam Recently, I launched a beautiful brand 💚 that my team and I had been working on tirelessly. Initially, I didn't realise my full potential due to the traditional processes in place. Typically, when launching a brand as a start-up, people tend to seek help from external branding agencies, which is considered practical and essential. I was also preparing to do that, researching various options and budgeting accordingly to present to my manager. ⏳ However, my manager suggested that I establish an internal agency with the help of our in-house creative team. Although I knew how to launch brands, I didn't know that I could work on every aspect of the project with my team and bring it to fruition. This included creating a #logo, choosing a colour scheme, selecting #typography, and providing a complete #brandtoolkit aligned with the company's overall strategy. I was unable to do this alone, but with the support of everyone in my team, we made it a living and breathing brand. 🙌 Big kudos to: 👩🏫 Anastassiya Larina - Your design thinking mind enabled me to see things differently and understand how people would perceive our creations. 👩 Vera Ulybkina - I am grateful for your constant flow of ideas and examples, which kept me on my toes and helped me to learn what could be done best. 🙋♀️ Subin Jeon - Although there are often questions surrounding what interns do, Subin brought a modern and up-to-date perspective to our work, providing a cool and quirky vibe to the project. 👩🎨 Ivana Horňáková - You were an essential pillar of this project. After some long daily calls, I am grateful for the hard work you put in to bring the real attributes to our brand. 👩⚖️ Laura R. King - Your strong opinions and feedback were critical to our success. Your honesty helped us to see things from a wider perspective, which in turn made us more adaptable. 👩💼 Marketa M. - She is that manager at the top I mentioned, who empowered me to achieve all this. Had you not encouraged me to do so, I would have followed the standard process and not realised my full potential. You are an inspiring example of one woman rising to another. Laxmi Vikraman and Soon Ae Kwon - I appreciate your presence and input throughout the project. 👨💼 And not to forget at all - Supriyo Chaudhuri FRSA, who is behind all of us. Happy International Women's Day to our friends and colleagues! 🏆💐🥂 Today is particularly special as it coincides with Women in Construction Week, underpinning the importance of this year's IWD theme: 'Inspire Inclusion'. To embrace this theme, we can all engage in three key actions: 🔴 Reflect on why women may be absent in our professional spaces and seek ways to include them. 🔴 Challenge discrimination wherever we see it and advocate for fairness at all levels. 🔴 Pledge to take consistent actions that foster an inclusive environment, not only today but every day. Currently, women represent approximately 14.16% of the UK's construction workforce. By committing to these actions, we contribute to narrowing this gap and building a more inclusive industry. #InspireInclusion #IWD2024 #diversity

Strong start to #InternationalWomensDay today with Construction News' "Constructing equality – Tackling and addressing unconscious bias" webinar. Thank you to the all female panel of industry experts who discussed tackling implicit bias, how we can all identify our biases, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy to improve these challenges within our workplaces. A few ways we as individuals can commit to #InspireInclusion: ❓ Question it! When women aren't present, we must ask: "If not, why not?" 📣 Speak out! When women are discriminated against, we must call out poor practice. 💥Take action! When the treatment of women is not equitable, we must take action. 💪🏻Don't give up!
