CEO Rail Forum, member of Rail Supply Group Council and Industry Lead for Rail Safety Week
Over the last three days #TeamUK have met several operators from South Africa, Namibia, Eswatini, Angola, Mozambique, Zambia, and more. In addition colleagues from Arup Transport Design International and Comms Design have had their own meetings with potential interested parties. The technical assistance package coupled with UKEF support has the potential to open doors for UK suppliers and we will be following up on this over the coming weeks. Huge thanks to Shaan Padayachy Radwa Sultan and all the DBT team for their support and finally thanks to Chimeta Mulambia of Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) who is leading on the research work as part of the overall approach.
