They are the pillars upon which communities and families are built, providing support, protection, and guidance to those around them. Their work, both visible and invisible, is essential to the functioning of society as a whole. On this day, we honor not only those who have given their lives on the battlefield but also all men who, day after day, make sacrifices for the well-being of their loved ones and their community. We recognize their labor and their commitment to a better world, and we pledge to continue working together to build a more just and peaceful future for all.
