Farm Box – A Journey Into Regenerative Farming At The Ethical Butcher, we’ve always believed that great food starts with great farming practices. And now, we’re introducing a brand-new product that takes that belief to the next level—Farm Box. Farm Box is a new concept that will allows to experience meat in a way that’s deeply connected to the land, the farmers, and the animals. We’ve always been passionate about regenerative farming, and with Farm Box, we’re giving an exclusive look at the story behind each cut of meat we deliver. It’s a chance to celebrate the hard work of farmers who are improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, and farming in a way that gives back to the land. What makes Farm Box so special? Each Farm Box contains meat from one animal, from one farm, at a specific time of year. This means you’ll receive carefully selected cuts that are at their seasonal best, ensuring maximum flavour and quality. It’s a way for us to showcase the work of our regenerative farming partners—small-scale farmers who are dedicated to producing the highest-quality, most sustainable meat possible. Our slogan, "One Farm at a Time," reflects our commitment to creating a deeper connection with the land and the people behind your food. Every box tells a story—about the farmer, their practices, and the land that sustains them. And because we’re committed to working with farms that share our values, it is rest assured that every Farm Box is fully aligned with our core principles: sustainability, transparency, and a dedication to regenerating the land for future generations. Over the course of the year, we’ll be introducing Farm Box from various farms, each one chosen based on the seasonality of their produce and the unique regenerative practices they employ. Whether it’s hogget in the autumn, spring lamb, or pastured chicken in summer, we’ll be bringing you the very best that British regenerative farming has to offer. We’re so excited to share this journey with you. Keep an eye out for the first Farm Box coming soon—and thank you for supporting regenerative farming, one farm at a time. #FarmBox #RegenerativeFarming #Sustainable #food #EthicalButcher #BcorpCertified #soilhealth #soil #british #farming #chefs #chef

In an article for Slow Living LDN, our Charlie White was interviewed by Beth Crane about The Slow Farming Company's approach to regenerative farming and letting nature take its course 🌱 Charlie also highlights the inspirational work of Patrick Holden (Sustainable Food Trust) and Sue Pritchard (Food, Farming and Countryside Commission) in the push towards UK-wide sustainable and regenerative agriculture at scale, and how the public can support such farming practices. #regenerativefarming #regenerativeagriculture #sustainablefarming #sustainableagriculture

Unlocking the Potential of Black Soldier Fly: A Sustainable Farming Revolution** In the quest for sustainable agriculture and waste management, the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) emerges as a tiny yet mighty hero. Native to tropical and temperate regions, this unassuming insect is not just another fly; it's a powerhouse of ecological and agricultural innovation. BSF larvae, with their voracious appetite for organic waste, are transforming how we approach composting and livestock feed production.

Naturally all #RegenAG people will want to read this article. For MVP Dairy, Regenerative Farming is About Progress Over Perfection While many wonder if cattle farming can coexist in a world increasingly focused on decarbonization and biodiversity, MVP Dairy believes incremental sustainability gains are important to recognize. It's improving its environmental impact through regenerative dairy farming practices. https://lnkd.in/gHuhjNGK

Looking for an example of a great regenerative transition? The Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska shifted from monocropping to regenerative agriculture across a huge swath of land (2,400 acres of row crop production and 2,500 acres of pastureland) in rural northeast Kansas. Why did they change? Their bees were dying due to neonicotinoid pesticides. Through grant funding and hard work, the tribe transitioned their bee farm, hemp farm, livestock operations, and orchard. Members felt it improved their quality and nutritional value of their crops, which can be noticed in taste, even mentioning the Tofu was more nutty. Ha. https://lnkd.in/eyukk8X2 #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #climate #kansas

Regenerative farming benefits everyone, but will we see its adoption in the agave industry? With the current oversupply of agave, could this be the right moment to explore regenerative practices and create a more sustainable future? https://lnkd.in/gtGbBbsD #regenerative #agave #spirits #organic
