That was a fun birthday episode of Good Morning Hospitality. In case you missed it, check out the replay right here. Steve's birthday was this past weekend. Mine will be this coming weekend. And we did a little get to know you session, everything from our favorite cakes to our first hospitality moments and even songs that really capture our essence. Hint, mine is pimping all over the world anyway. But we also talked about a lot of what's going on in the world of hotels and travel. AAA announcing their. For Diamond Properties, there are a couple of new properties that have made it to the list this year, one of them being a place that I know, the Omni Hotel in San Diego. Shout out to them and all the other hotels that finally received this distinguished honor. Hilton doubling down on lifestyle brands. For those that know, lifestyle brands are really sort of the future of or the evolution of boutique hotels. So that's been exciting to see. And then Marriott is revealing they have a new brand. In the works called Project, what is it? It's called Project Mid T That's right. A midscale brand designed for middle class travelers, families, business travelers as well. So we'll be interesting to see is that kind of comes to fruition. And then we talked about something very important, which is bathrooms, the public bathrooms in hotels. What are the features that you like to see? Steve feels very strongly about this, but I want to know what do you like? Do you care? About the towels that you use, you care about the scent in the bathroom, the lighting, the wallpaper, is it a vibe? Do the stalls have any gaps in between the doors or do you want ever the stalls to go straight up to the top? So many things that we can talk about public bathrooms and hotels, but let us know and more importantly, check out the recap. We're right here.
