If you want to understand how sites view site engagement and how to design better HCP experiences, speak to Alexander. He is currently managing the communication with >300 oncology sites & It's incredible how much he keeps teaching us at Yendou. Side note: He is a huge fan of Dan Sfera. Dan's Youtube channel & book all the way :D, and if he says everyone should listen to Dan, you bet that everyone should listen to Dan. #ClinicalTrials #SiteEngagement
I joined Yendou as a Site Relations Development Manager in October last year. We are a site engagement platform in the context of clinical trials, and my day-to-day revolves around connecting with oncologists across the globe. Why? Because I’m curious—curious to understand their day-to-day, their challenges, and aspirations. At 28, I’m still rather early in my career. Most of the people I speak with have 20+ years of experience in the field. This week was no exception. I had the privilege of speaking with an incredible professional outside of Europe, leading the oncology department of a major hospital. As always, I ended our conversation by asking about their past experiences with the site selection process—what could be improved and what they wished for. Their response left an impression on me. Without hesitation, they said: "I wish more people like you took the time to understand our needs." Imagine dedicating over two decades of your life to something as vital as advancing cancer treatment—not just for your hospital, but for humanity—without (or rarely) being asked what your needs are. Maybe this was an exception. Maybe not. Soon, I will know more.

I am excited to share that I recently participated in the Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research #spsr. International Webinar on "Preclinical Animal provided valuable insights into the use of animal models in studying neurological diseases. The webinar also emphasized the importance of genetic models that reflect the polygenic nature of these disorders. It concluded that animal models are useful in mimicking the syndrome in its entirety and to study potential therapeutic treatment. overall, the webinar was enlightening and provided important insights into the use of preclinical animal models in studying neurological disease. #SPSR #PRECLINICALANIMALMODELS #NEUROLOGICALDISEASE #DRUGSCREENING

By addressing these interconnected challenges, we aim to inspire patient-centered solutions at every level of cancer care. June is National #CancerSuvivorsMonth. We celebrate Greg, a father, husband, avid outdoorsman, and #melanoma survivor whose DecisionDx-Melanoma test results helped him move from fear to confidence. "Just seeing those results was a huge relief for me." https://hubs.la/Q02Bnb8Z0 DecisionDx-Melanoma is Castle's gene expression profile (GEP) test that analyzes a patient's unique tumor biology to predict their personal risk of recurrence and/or metastasis. It can help to improve prognostic accuracy, better inform management decisions, and positively impact outcomes.
