Today, my team was informed that I won’t be continuing with Maritech in 2025. My interim position is wrapping up, and unfortunately, there wasn’t an option to create a new role for me. So here I am, sharing the news and letting you all know that I’m open for new opportunities! I’m now on the lookout for my next adventure—ideally at a start-up or a company that’s shaking things up, trying new things, or implementing big changes. He asked me if I would be interested in a great opportunity to join Maritech, but there was one catch: it was an interim position with no promises of a long-term role. I thought about it, weighed the risks, and ultimately decided to take the leap. And I’ve never looked back. Maritech has a vibe that’s hard to put into words. I still remember during onboarding when Odd Arne shared the mindset at Maritech: striving to be the best, both as individuals and as a team, to create top-notch products and services for our customers. That really hit home for me and made me even more excited to be a part of it. Not long after I joined, Maritech went through some big changes. I had the chance to work with Andre Lillebakk to tackle a bunch of challenges around making an existing product more cloud-agnostic and scalable, optimize and cut costs. I was happy to put my cloud and infrastructure skills to use on Maritech’s IoT products, helping ensure everything ran smoothly and efficiently for the team. Now, as I prepare for the next chapter, I’m filled with gratitude. It’s been an amazing ride getting to know everyone at Maritech, and I’ll definitely miss (OG) Team Data! Two Years of Tealio: A Balancing Act Today marks Tealio's second anniversary, and I can't help but reflect on the importance of balance. In business, and in life, it's essential to know when to zoom in and focus on the details, and when to zoom out and see the bigger picture. Over the past two years, Tealio has experienced rapid growth. The pace has been exhilarating, but it can also be overwhelming.
