This technique rapidly heats battery waste to 2,500 Kelvin, creating magnetic properties that facilitate the efficient separation and purification of valuable metals. This new approach achieves an impressive 98% recovery rate while preserving the structural integrity and functionality of the materials. The advancement addresses the growing need for sustainable battery recycling as the use of electric vehicles increases, offering a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution to manage battery waste.
