Making holes in walls is all part of the job very often...! In this stone farmhouse we were asked to increase the kitchen dining area. A steel portal frame will eventually connect back to the existing building and roof. The new finished floor level being built up is consistent with the existing house, along with a new beam-and-block ventilated floor.
