Today, we announced investments of $5M to both Electra Battery Materials Corporation and MIRARCO - Mining Innovation Rehabilitation and Applied Research Corporation to support the Canadian #CriticalMinerals sector. 💡 Funding to Electra will help advance their battery materials recycling program and help conserve resources, reduce waste and reduce the environmental impact of battery production in North America’s critical minerals sector. 🔋 Funding to MIRARCO will directly feed into the battery supply chain by advancing the technological readiness of the recovery of nickel, cobalt and copper from mine tailings.
