📆 On June 13-14, 2024, Stefano Antonetti, VP of Business Development, and Elena Giglio, Institutional Relations, and Fabio Aversa, Public Relations and Institutional Affairs, attended the EU Strategic Forum on In-Space Operations and Services (ISOS) in Brussels.     🛰 The two-day event addressed topics including #Europe’s strategic ambition in In-Space Operations and Services (ISOS) and key applications that can further enhance Europe’s #security and resilience in #space. During the panel session 4, titled “Towards Standards for ISOS Activities”, Stefano discussed the significance of establishing standards for ISOS to accelerate market growth, as well as priorities and potential challenges, alongside representatives from #ESA, #research centers, and space companies.     👥 Consultations with ISOS providers, end users, and institutional actors are crucial steps to overcome the lack of a regulatory framework and to harmonize definition and rules around ISOS as to what is entailed in ‘’in-space operation and services’’, by pushing innovation in those key #technologies and enabling the in-space operations and services (r)evolution (eg. robotics, proximity operations)    #spaceindustry
