CA's "Fast Act" goes live April 1. If you don't think it applies to your business, take Ice Cube's sage advice and "check yourself before you wreck yourself." It applies to far more businesses than many think (and not just "fast food restaurants"), as recent CA guidance indicates (see article below). The consequences of noncompliance can be devastating, including providing opportunistic plaintiff attorneys with grounds to file wage & hour lawsuits, which can be costly and difficult to resolve. The next few months in CA will test all restaurants, employees and consumers alike. Our GT Restaurant team is here to help navigate these challenging times. Great article from Kate Bernot! Appreciate the opportunity to share some thoughts on the the #beerindustry and how, working together, all can succeed. Great insight from Jessica Hart, MBA and Caroline O'Connell too!
Thanks, Kate Bernot, for including my perspective on this timely topic & its impact on the #beerindustry from employer to employee. Special shoutout to the best in #bevalch legal: Jeremy Little and Caroline O'Connell , for their valuable contributions. "From a business perspective and trends I’m seeing, it’s not [a competing brewery] that’s going to shut your doors,” Hart says. “It’s wage and hour [issues], it’s sexual harassment—we work in alcohol, it’s high risk—that will shut your business down. It’s smart to pivot your focus toward what’s actually closing businesses right now.” Article linked in the comments. #hrconsultant #cpg #breweryhr https://lnkd.in/gkWAS6Z6

Oh no! These prices will need to go up! And your cashier will see if you are selecting the appropriate 20% tip button once you insert your credit card. Daily habit could run upwards of $3,000/year Gen Z and Millennials! ~r According to the extensive Starbucks menu, the most expensive drink is the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino at $5.95. Several other Frappuccinos are the same price, like the Apple Crisp Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino, and Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino. There are also a few other items, like Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso, that have the same price. Standard drinks cost much less, with a grande Regular Coffee costing $2.65. https://lnkd.in/grjFpTAr
