Is using ChatGPT to write your cover letter okay? Gen Z are digital natives and have quickly adopted AI to help them in various aspects of their lives, but they're making some major mistakes along the way. Gen Z career expert Shoshanna Davis told CNBC Make It that some employers have informed her that they have been receiving "hundreds of the exact same cover letters word for word" and suspect that applicants are using ChatGPT. I used it to get me my current job, I don't think there's any issue with this. Obviously you have to know how to use the technology properly to ensure that you get something tailored to you and the potential employer, to ensure you don't get a copy and paste vibe. But I think people should embrace the technology and use it as much as possible. I even used it to help me update my CV!
