The Dior show has attracted 126 million Chinese viewers in one day. It is interesting to put this number in perspective of the number of visitors in museums and to underline the importance of the digital dissemination According to ChatGPT , The total number of visitors to the top 100 art museums in 2023 was 141 million, which is double the number from the previous year and nearly three times that of 2020. However, this figure is still below the pre-pandemic high of 230 million visits in 2019. 🖼 🎨 Team Building Destinations: The Art Track...in Paris 🇫🇷 while the world is focused on Paris for the olympics, it's a good time for an important reminder. Paris is one of the best destinations to spark your team's creativity and foster innovation. All teams can benefit from unleashing their creativity. The very first VP who asked me to facilitate a workshop focusing on creativity was the head of the Finance department at a Wireless Communications company where I was a full-time employee. I've also facilitated with creativity workshops for engineering and HR teams. Creativity involves pushing your boundaries. For most of my life, I've expressed creativity through writing, music, acting and, sometimes, dance. Visual art was never my forte. I failed art in elementary school and did not select it as a high school elective. When I was last in Paris, instead of exploring music and theatre, I decided to put myself on the art track. Paris provides plenty of opportunities for corporate teams to explore art. I visited the Lourve twice. same Museum that focuses on impressionistic art was closer renovation so I ventured further afield to the Chateau de Versailles and Monet's House in Giverny. The students painting in the galleries and sketching in Paris' parks looked so relaxed. They it's probably so much that, when I returned to Toronto, I took a course called "Drawing for Those Who Can't" at the Royal Ontario Museum. I'll never be a professional artist but I have a basket of art supplies in my living room and I always have a sketch pad and pencils in my laptop case. Later, I completed The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Before I knew it I was writing again. I've written two screenplays, scripts for two TV series, and I'm working on my fourth novel. Creativity has allowed me to design and feel so will take engaging experiences and simulations for my corporate clients. I encourage corporate leaders to spark creativity and foster innovation through similar exploration at home or abroad. Enhanced creativity will improve your team's brainstorming and problem solving skills. read this last night… a good read with some interesting observations. throughout the report, i couldn’t help but ask myself: do the foundational rules of #luxury ever really change? and if they don’t, can there be such a thing as new luxury? I know new tactics are developed and applied to fit within the context of the times, but the elements of craftsmanship, heritage, dream factor, etc of a brand still determine its luxury status in my opinion. #newbalance & #Stussy made the list, but i would consider those as premium brands and not luxury. i don’t even know if they would consider themselves to be in the luxury category. these are just my initial thoughts, but the report is an interesting read all in all. kudos to the HS team for putting this together. 🖤 #luxurybrands
